Winemaker Notes
I am fortunate to have the best barrels made to showcase a wine that has come from the field almost perfect. This vintage was aged in a combination of new and older French and American barrels. The combination of age and type of barrel retained the wines excellent balance and depth of fruit while adding an appropriate amount of spice and toast.
I will serve this wine with a thinly sliced teriyaki steak or a hardy vegetable & pasta soup. -Richard B. Sayre, Winemaker
