Named after Senor Amador, the original vineyard owner dating back to the 18th century, Clos Amador is a family owned winery dedicated to the elaboration of sparkling wines under the umbrella of the denomination of origin Cava.
Overlooking the Montserrat Mountains to the northwest and the Natural Park of the Garraf to the southeast, the Clos Amador vineyard is located in the heart of the Central Penedès between the town of Sant Sadurni d´Anoia and Vilafranca del Penedès.
Located roughly 30 miles from Barcelona, the vineyard is 35 years old and uses traditional methods to create their various sparkling wines. In this site of 9 hectares, a number of rare qualities coincide to produce an exceptional wine.
