Ara has full control over their grape quality and as an accredited member of Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand all wines are 100% sustainably produced.

In 2011, Jeff Clarke joined Ara. Jeff is recognized as one of the world’s most accomplished New Zealand winemakers, playing a key role in the development of Marlborough’s world famous Sauvignon Blanc, and emerging Pinot Noir, Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris wines from New Zealand.
