Amarte Mas ("Love You More") is a proprietary estate wine from the Rias Baixas DO in Galicia produced and bottled by Bodegas Coto Redondo. Having been officially founded in 2003 by a group of partners, they set out to produce some of the finest wines within the famed Condado de Tea subzone. The town, As Neves, is set within the San Nomedio Mountains alongside the Mino River about 30 miles east of the Atlantic coast and about 10 miles north of the Portugal border. Rivers, valleys, and mountains surround the area, making it a beautiful backdrop for the winery. Jorge Hervella, the current day winemaker has dedicated his life to winemaking within Galicia’s most famed DOs including Monterrei, Ribeiro, & Ribera Sacra. During his tenure at Coto Redondo, the winery has been recipient to some of the most important regional, national and international awards. Bodegas Coto Redondo is most well known for their white wine varieties including Albarino, Treixadura, and Loureiro while also producing red grape varieties Mencia, Caino, Pedral, Rentinto (Souson).
