How do you handle delivery in extreme temperatures?

Extreme temperatures can damage wine. To ensure the quality and integrity of your wine during transit, we may hold your order until the weather eases. 

We will alert you of excessive heat or cold at your shipment’s destination during checkout and offer you the option for us to hold it until safe in our warehouse.

Occasionally, temperatures shift unfavorably after you place your order and before it’s ready to ship. In this case, we will automatically hold your order and send an email letting you know.

We monitor the weather daily and will update you by email as soon as your order is safe to ship. Timing can vary depending on conditions at your delivery location.

You will not be charged until your order ships.

What are my other options to get my wine delivered safely?

Shipping to a Local Pickup location ensures your wine will be held in a temperature safe environment until you pick it up. We offer nearly 20,000 locations across the country.

Depending on your destination, expedited shipping can reduce the amount of time your wine is in transit.
