The 2016 Cimarron red blend is powerful and wild in itself. The winery ferments the varietals separately, and later blend this Rhone style wine. The integrity of each component Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre are more pronounced with late blending vs co-fermentation. Plums, raspberries and spices fill your palate. The aromas of berries, caramel and tobacco resonate long after your last sip.
