This is only Sangiovese from a single vineyard. Full and juicy with loads of fruit and coffee character. Spicy too. Lovely chewy texture. This area did much better than others in Tuscany.

The 2014 Perlato del Bosco is pure Sangiovese and it represents a selection of the estate’s best fruit. The wine is profoundly fruity in character with wild berry, white cherry, plum and a touch of sweet apricot. It shows a charming and easy confidence that will make this wine an easy pairing partner to your favorite Italian pasta dishes. Perlato del Bosco is aged partially in barrique and botte grande. It offers a round and direct interpretation of Sangiovese that is specific to the Tuscan Coast.
