    Winemaker Notes

Aromas of brioche, cassis and coco are accented by spicy black pepper notes on the palate. Succulent and smooth with good concentration and depth.

The dark chocolate and cherry flavors coupled with moderate-plus acidity and subtle tannins of the Main Street Cabernet Sauvignon create a perfect food and wine marriage. Trinchero's flagship wine is an excellent complement for grilled steak topped with a wild mushroom sauce.

    Trinchero
The Trinchero family has been making wine in the Napa Valley since 1948, and Trinchero Napa Valley serves to honor the legacy of foundery, Mario Trinchero. Wines bearing the Trinchero Napa Valley label are luxury-class, predominantly single-vineyard, wines from their Napa Valley estates. Ech is painstakingly handcrafted and produced in limited quantities. They source their grapes from 100 acres of estate vineyards in prime Napa Valley appellations, including St. Helena, Mount Veeder, Rutherford and Atlas Peak.

Beyond the usual suspects, there are hundreds of red grape varieties grown throughout the world. Some are regional indigenous specialties capable of producing excellent wines on their own, while others are better suited for use as blending grapes. Each has its own distinct viticultural characteristics and aroma and flavor profiles, offering much to be discovered by the curious wine lover. In particular, Portugal, Italy, and Greece are known for having a multitude of unique varieties.
