Winemaker Notes
Spicy notes of oak rise above distinct aromas of cherry and berry. The palate has a backbone of Sangiovese, a roundness of Merlot and enhanced body from the Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit purity and varietal signatures are testament to the meticulous care given to the vines. Note: Some sediment may occur in the bottom of the bottle as the wine is not filtered.

A firm, polished red with subtle blackberry, blueberry and violet aromas, as well as some cedar, following through to a full body with fresh acidity, chewy tannins and a linear finish. Needs a couple of years to open. Try after 2024.

This entry-level blend of equal parts Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot offers outstanding value. The 2019 Al Passo (with 110,000 bottles made) shows bright energy and vertical lift.
