Winemaker Notes

This golden white wine is delightful from first encounter to last sip. Like a walk through a tropical Hawaiian rainforest, fresh notes of pineapple, lemon, and sweet vanilla blossom on the nose. Tropical fruit notes build to a rich mid-palate with a smooth, subtle spice and mouthwatering acidity. A soft, creamy finish completes this wine, making it a delightful glass on its own or paired with food.

This wine pairs beautifully with grilled chicken, creamy pasta dishes, and roasted vegetables.

This vintage of Cuvée Blanc was barrel fermented and aged in 20% new French oak for 11 months.

One of the most popular and versatile white wine grapes, Chardonnay offers a wide range of flavors and styles depending on where it is grown and how it is made. While it tends to flourish in most environments, Chardonnay from its Burgundian homeland produces some of the most remarkable and longest lived examples. California produces both oaky, buttery styles and leaner, European-inspired wines. Somm Secret—The Burgundian subregion of Chablis, while typically using older oak barrels, produces a bright style similar to the unoaked style. Anyone who doesn't like oaky Chardonnay would likely enjoy Chablis.
