This is really effortless. Pale ruby hue, showing aromas of scented pomegranate, roses, wet stones and wild raspberries. Really fluid and fluent on the palate with a fresh thread of acidity. Silky, but firm, fresh and ethereal, as if you were tasting a pinot with delicious tannins.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2021 Negre was produced with Garnacha (no more Cariñena) from organically farmed vineyards (certified, but the wines are not) on clay soils. It fermented in stainless steel with full clusters and matured in those vats for six months. It's light, juicy and floral, perfumed, fresh and easy to drink.
Grenache thrives in any warm, Mediterranean climate where ample sunlight allows its clusters to achieve full phenolic ripeness. While Grenache's birthplace is Spain (there called Garnacha), today it is more recognized as the key player in the red blends of the Southern Rhône, namely Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône and its villages. Somm Secret—The Italian island of Sardinia produces bold, rustic, single varietal Grenache (there called Cannonau). California, Washington and Australia have achieved found success with Grenache, both flying solo and in blends.
