Nambrot was first made in 1996, using Merlot grapes, and has evolved over the years into a blend together with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. In the hot and dry 2017 vintage Merlot was harvested since August 17. 'It was already pretty ripe and the wild boars were eating it all!' said Ginevra Venerosi Pesciolini. 'Very low quantity – also due to the lack of water in the berries – 28% less than the previous vintage. We manage the must to have shorter fermentation in order to save some freshness and the result is of a wine with a very important structure and richness of polyphenols, but not heavy'. Earthy, leathery and full of Mediterranean herbs up to helichrysum on the nose, it shows great cherry and cassis fruit on the palate balanced by firm acidity, with thick yet velvety tannins.

A medium-bodied red with currant, berry, wet-earth and clay-soil aromas and flavors. It’s savory and juicy with a long, flavorful finish. Drink now or hold.

Legendary in Italy for its Renaissance art and striking landscape, Tuscany is also home to many of the country’s best red wines. Sangiovese reigns supreme here, as either the single varietal, or a dominant player, in almost all of Tuscany’s best.

A remarkable Chianti, named for its region of origin, will have a bright acidity, supple tannins and plenty of cherry fruit character. From the hills and valleys surrounding the medieval village of Montalcino, come the distinguished and age-worthy wines based on Brunello (Sangiovese). Earning global acclaim since the 1970s, the Tuscan Blends are composed solely of international grape varieties or a mix of international and Sangiovese. The wine called Vine Nobile di Montepulciano, composed of Prognolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and is recognized both for finesse and power.
