A vibrant straw color, this wine has a delicate bead with a lovely persistent and creamy mousse. Hints of citrus and strawberry on the nose are complemented with elegant aromas of bread and nuts from the time spent on yeast lees. A clean line of natural acidity is balanced perfectly with the dosage to create a true representation of arguably one of the best sparkling wines Taltarni has ever produced.

Showing classic traditional flavors that are reminiscent of the Champagne district in France, the 2011 Taltarni Taché shows excellent richness and style. The wine's red fruit, light yeast, and chalk should go nicely with bacon wrapped seared scallops. (Tasted: December 1, 2017, San Francisco, CA)
