Winemaker Notes
An elegant nose of apricots cut with lemon, Asian spices, and crushed rock. The mouth is balanced right between Viognier and Grenache Blanc character, with flavors of nectarine and lemon verbena. A clean, fresh, and elegant finish rounds out the wine, leaving a lingering impression of sea spray minerality.

Wine Enthusiast
Tightly wound on the nose, this blend of 39% Viognier, 36% Grenache Blanc, 19% Marsanne and 6% Roussanne shows lime pith, wet chalk, river stone and a hint of pineapple on the nose. There are creamy flavors of pineapple and mango on the palate, yet the underlying ash and chalk tones keep everything in check.

A blend of 39% Viognier, 36% Grenache Blanc, 19% Marsanne and 6% Roussanne, the 2018 Côtes de Tablas Blanc offers bright touches of flint, flowers and roasted almonds with a core of peachy fruit. The palate is medium-bodied, silky and savory with bright freshness and a long, understated finish.

Crisp and focused, balancing fleshy apricot, melon and nectarine flavors and more juicy notes of Meyer lemon and lime zest, with a thread of saline minerality. Finishes fresh and lively. Viognier, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne.
Full-bodied and flavorful, white Rhône blends originate from France’s Rhône Valley. Today these blends are also becoming popular in other regions. Typically some combination of Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier form the basis of a white Rhône blend with varying degrees of flexibility depending on the exact appellation. Somm Secret—In the Northern Rhône, blends of Marsanne and Roussanne are common but the south retains more variety. Marsanne, Roussanne as well as Bourboulenc, Clairette, Picpoul and Ugni Blanc are typical.
