Winemaker Notes
There are hundreds of white grape varieties grown throughout the world. Some are indigenous specialties capable of producing excellent single varietal wines. Each has its own distinct viticultural characteristics, as well as aroma and flavor profiles.
Bordering New York’s scenic Hudson Valley, the Connecticut Highland AVA has a short and cool growing season making it ideal for the cool-climate grape varieties of Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Muscat.
