The second vintage of an intergenerational, transgeographical, polyexperiential Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2013 Holler is a tour de force. Brawny, dense, concentrated black fruit, this Cabernet Sauvignon is layered with chewy tannins, graphite, lavender, sage, bitter chocolate and crushed roses. From the bangin’ 2013 vintage, Holler is powerful and generous at the release and we expect many years of classic development. Whether you prefer to hollah, live in a holler or just like to get loud, enjoy the ride.

Red Mountain provides over half of the fruit for this wine with the rest coming from the Columbia and Yakima valleys. Aromas of herb, plum, tobacco and black currant are followed by ample cranberry and black fruit flavors. It brings an irresistible appeal.

Representing the former are characteristics like the ripe, forward fruit that results from long sunny days during the growing season (up to two hours longer than in much of California). Old World similarities include an undeniable brightness from acidity, as well as notes of herbs, graphite and a dusty, sometimes gravelly minerality.
