Winemaker Notes
Riboli Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon shows layers of ripe fruit flavors, in particular, wild berry, black cherry, and ripe plum. Aromas of sweet oak, vanilla, and spice complement the equally fruit-driven nose. A small percentage of Petit Verdot adds structure and body. Soft tannin's frame the full, round mouth. The wine is readily accessible but may benefit from several years of cellaring. Each bottle is a celebration of the many generations of our wine making family.

This expression comes from the Riboli family’s 16 acres in the Rutherford District. Fennel and blueberry combine with deep espresso for a structured, mighty red as sweet oak and dark cherry impart goodness on the finish. This vibrant inkypurple wine (just 6% Petit Verdot is added in) is barrel-aged 24 months in 70% new French oak. A classic.

Wine Enthusiast
From a site in Rutherford and blended with 6% Petit Verdot, this is a woody, herbal red wine, moderate in structure and robustly ripe in style. Cedar, pencil, char and dried herb contrast against a richness of milk chocolate as firm tannins take hold and grip the long finish.
