With its full, oaky nose and essence-like, sweet fruit, this warm and generous red has plenty of healthy tannins but finishes slightly sweet. With slightly less ripeness this would rate even higher.

In this hilly amphitheater called Prelius, the vineyard is organically farmed by the Stianti Mascheroni family flourishes. This vineyard, also called Prelius, is the first venture outside of Chianti Classico for the Stianti Mascheroni family, leaders in Tuscany's organic viticultural movement.

Earning global acclaim since the 1970s, the Tuscan Blends are composed solely of international grape varieties or a mix of international and Sangiovese. The wine called Vine Nobile di Montepulciano, composed of Prognolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and is recognized both for finesse and power.
