The Grimm's Blulff Vineyard is a high quality, 100% biodynamic, boutique property in the Happy Canyon region of Santa Barbara County. The property is located on the top of the AVA, 1,000 feet above sea level, and neighboring
the best properties in a region that has already proven to be great land for Sauvignon Blanc. Made from clones Musque and 1, this Sauvignon Blanc was fermented and aged in concrete, stainless steel, and neutral French oak.

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Le Jardin Secret offers more spice and minerality, with bright lemon and white grapefruit as well as minty, grassy nuances. It's beautiful on the palate as well, offering medium-bodied richness and a layered, lush, seamless texture. It's another impeccably balanced, thrilling white from Lato.
Capable of a vast array of styles, Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, refreshing variety that equally reflects both terroir and varietal character. Though it can vary depending on where it is grown, a couple of commonalities always exist—namely, zesty acidity and intense aromatics. This variety is of French provenance. Somm Secret—Along with Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc is a proud parent of Cabernet Sauvignon. That green bell pepper aroma that all three varieties share is no coincidence—it comes from a high concentration of pyrazines (herbaceous aromatic compounds) inherent to each member of the family.
On the eastern end of the Santa Ynez Valley, the rolling hills of the tiny Happy Canyon AVA produce top quality reds from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and whites from Sauvignon blanc. The region’s low-nutrient soil grows smaller vines and in turn, higher quality wine grapes.
