Winemaker Notes

Brooding, rich red with purple hues. Aromas of black currant, chocolate and cedar precede a soft, full palate that adds plum and subtle oak characters to the mix.

Certified organic grapes are planted on red loam over limestone soils in the family-owned Nanya Vineyard, which is farmed without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. This estate-bottled Cabernet Sauvignon displays aromas of cappuccino and purple plum. Rich, ripe notes of blackberry preserves, licorice, and cedar-kissed cherry work with a balanced acid structure and a pleasingly dry, dusty finish.
