Monterra Chardonnay 2000

This deep golden Chardonnay showcases the great depth of Monterey and San Bernabe Vineyard fruit flavor. The aroma is of fresh pears, ripe apples, and tropical fruit all wound tightly around an enticing butterscotch core. In the mouth the wine is full-bodied, rich and silky and reminiscent of pineapple, coconut and lemon peel. The long, rich finish is enhanced by hints of spicy oak.
