This is a fun Tuscan blend of equal parts Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Mastrojanni 2021 San Pio (with 19,000 bottles created) reveals a saturated color and medium-rich appearance with luscious aromas of black fruit and dark plum. There is a touch of ferrous earth that ties into the wine's subtle but elegant minerality. It closes with chalky tannins.

Toscana Rosso is a budget-friendly option when serving a relaxed dinner to family and friends. The 2021 Mastrojanni San Pio is a frisky wine, showcasing appealing aromas of boysenberries and pleasing earthy notes. Put a few gruyere-topped hamburgers on the grill and have a party. Pouring a jeweled ruby red hue, the 2021 San Pio is attractive and fruit-driven on the nose, with fresh cherries, floral perfume, purple flowers, and a citrus-tinged lift. The palate is medium-bodied and approachable, with refreshing acidity and a clean finish that keeps it highly charming.

Legendary in Italy for its Renaissance art and striking landscape, Tuscany is also home to many of the country’s best red wines. Sangiovese reigns supreme here, as either the single varietal, or a dominant player, in almost all of Tuscany’s best.

A remarkable Chianti, named for its region of origin, will have a bright acidity, supple tannins and plenty of cherry fruit character. From the hills and valleys surrounding the medieval village of Montalcino, come the distinguished and age-worthy wines based on Brunello (Sangiovese). Earning global acclaim since the 1970s, the Tuscan Blends are composed solely of international grape varieties or a mix of international and Sangiovese. The wine called Vine Nobile di Montepulciano, composed of Prognolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and is recognized both for finesse and power.
