    Marenco
The history of the Marenco family is one of passion and vineyards, of a bond between the land and the territory. As confirmed by the heraldic researches, the Marenco family has always been involved in agriculture, wine making. Because the best vineyards are always the most difficult to manage. Mr. Giuseppe Marenco, the present owner of the firm, started the evolution of this activity. He went from growing the grapes to and selling them to others, to winemaker. Little by little, he helped increase the size of his father's small estate located in the Bagnario Valley - a very important zone for the production of the Moscato grapes, by other estates and farms, all very well positioned in the Strevi territory and in the bordering areas, reaching the present 80 hectares of which 65 hectares are occupied by vineyards.

Mr. Marenco is a man deeply bound to his roots and wanted to keep, with the help of highly specialized agronomists, the traditional plantations and growing systems. While difficult, it is the only way to support excellent grape production focusing on quality. His cellar, due to recent investments has the most modern equipment. This allows the oenologist to work carefully: from the soft pressing of grapes, to the control of the temperature during fermentation, to the refining of the wines, to the use barriques, to the bottling in a sterile surrounding in order to preserve the integrity of the wine. The end result is that the 'Marenco' family has obtained both a local and international market, supporting a common idea: from time immemorial, at the base of a good wine, there lies the earth and the high quality of the grapes.
