Winemaker Notes
The only Sauvignon grapes in Burgundy, which once was called "epicier," grow close to the village. The grapes are a typical Sauvignon varietal, at the border line between the Loire and Burgundy. The true quality of this wine was recognized in 1974 when it became a VDQS (Vin Delimite de Qualite Superieure). It should become an Appellation d'Origine Controlee in the coming months.
Crisp and clean; fruity with aromas of passion fruit and lemon. Refreshing and easy to drink. Showing good balance between fruit and acidity
