Winemaker Notes

This wine has a wild, ethereal presence of briary, hedgerow fruits, fragrant sweet spice and doughy oak notes that provide warmth and dimension. More refined than robust, the palate’s soft, plush red fruits give richness and the fine line of tannins, length and structure.

The 2015 Scotsdale Cabernet Sauvignon is a potent, cassis-laden wine. It also shows classic cigar box characters, offering hints of cedar, vanilla, tobacco and mint. It's medium to full-bodied, supported by fine-grained, silky tannins that end in a flourish of soft dustiness on the long finish. This well-proportioned beauty is delicious now and should drink well for another 10-12 years.
