Winemaker Notes
This Cab Franc comes from Rancho Rocoso Vineyard, located cool climate of Bennett Valley. The grapes were picked by hand, fermented 25% whole cluster & 75% destemmed and cold soaked for 7 days. We fermented each lot in small open-top tanks, punch-down by hand, and aged in French Oak barrels. This wine is not fined or filtered.

COMMENTARY: I freely admit that I of one of my default wines is Cabernet Franc, and the 2016 Horse & Plow did a great job of doing that. TASTING NOTES: This wine balances black fruit with dried herbs in a way that many others can't do. Enjoy it with braised lamb shanks, and you may be a fan of this grape too.
