Winemaker Notes
Brilliant, pale straw hue with vibrant green reflections. Enticing tropical aromas of ripe guava, persimmon and piquant lime zest fill the glass, supported by herbaceous undertones of fresh grass and thyme. The 2022 vintage has a rich mouthfeel with intense tropical flavors and pleasant, long-lasting acidity.

Aromas of tart lime and tarragon are in sync with the crisp Bosc pear and sweet basil that season the palate. Tangelo and mowed grass appear midway before the sleek, mineral finish.

Made in Blenheim, the wine capital of New Zealand, Frenzy Sauvignon Blanc is produced by Paua Bay wines and is a carefully made blend of the best wines from selected vineyards. Capturing the spirit of New Zealand, Frenzy is crisp, refreshing, vibrant, aromatic and energetic with hints of peach, grapefruit, lime, melon and fresh cut grass. New Zealand produces what many wine critics consider the world’s best Sauvignon Blanc, so drink up the Frenzy.
Winemaker Rebecca "Bec” Wiffen has strong family ties to the region of Marlborough. Ingrained is her tradition of crafting wines of multi-layered complexity, depth and elegance. Bec’s recipe for success is careful timing and hand selection of vineyard blocks at the time of harvest, followed by small batch fermentation.
Recognized for its distinctively herbaceous and aromatic, Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand is perfectly suited to the grape with its maritime climate, plenty of rainfall and abundant sunshine. Producers have almost unilaterally embraced cutting-edge winery technology, resulting in clean, high-quality wines at every price point from wallet-friendly to premium. Sauvignon blanc is at its best in Marlborough but thrives throughout as the country. It is New Zealand’s most planted and successful variety, also accounting for an overwhelming majority of its exports.
