The 2013 Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch Chardonnay has a beautifully spicy nose of coriander seed and ginger over a core of ripe apricots, brioche and marzipan. Medium-bodied, it delivers tons of stone fruit, spice and yeasty / toasty flavor layers with plenty of vivacity in the long finish. In a word: yum!

While it tends to flourish in most environments, Chardonnay from its Burgundian homeland produces some of the most remarkable and longest lived examples.
