Pretty, deep cherry red. Spicy, peppery aromas of raspberry and dried cherry. Slight whiff of cured meat. Flavors bright, juicy and lean, nicely framed with a bit of sweet tannin. Very appetizing, in the manner of a fine Northern Italian red.
