Winemaker Notes
The Grace Vineyard is located on the Evenstad Estate, and is one of the hallmarks of Domaine Serene’s single vineyard program. The Grace Vineyard has deep Jory soils, a gentle east-facing slope and is named after our owner Grace Evenstad.

Wine Spectator
Lithe, supple and refined, this is truly elegant stuff, letting its complex raspberry, cherry and exotic spice flavors whoosh across the palate, finishing expressively and in fine balance.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2005 Pinot Noir Grace Vineyard is pale to medium ruby in color with a wonderful concentrated nose of dried black cherries, blackcurrants and black licorice with touches of wood smoke, pencil shavings, cedar chest and fresh tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with ripe, warm black fruits with layers of exotic spice and earth, framed by soft tannins and juicy acidity, finishing very long and packed with fruit, earth and spice layers.

Wine & Spirits
This estate-grown pinot noir leads with oak tones-scents of mocha and tar. With air, the wine fills in around that structure and an earthy, vinous flavor laces itself around the vivid red cherry core. It has the structure to hold up to a duck breast and wild mushrooms.
Home of some of the planet’s most amazingly elegant and expressive Pinot noir, the Willamette Valley is a pastoral, mixed landscape of green, bucolic rolling hills, dramatic forestlands and small, independent, friendly wine growers. As a leader in environmental stewardship, the valley has some of the nation’s most protective land use policies, with two-thirds of its vineyards farmed sustainably and over half, organically. While the valley claims a cool, continental climate, and is heavily influenced by the cold, moist winds of the Pacific Ocean, its warm and dry summers allow for the steady, even ripening of Pinot noir.
The potential of Willamette Valley Pinot noir continues to attract the investment of serious growers and winemakers both locally and from abroad, as naturally the finished wines bring accolades from professionals and enthusiasts. With a range of styles from delicate dried cherry, raspberry and hibiscus to stronger notes of truffle, mocha, plum and spice, a fine Willamette Valley Pinot noir is a perfect expression of both character and grace.
