Winemaker Notes
With a flaming red, already developed at edges, this wine has a complex bouquet of ripe fruits and spicy taste. On the palate also, its full aromas are revealed with a pleasant persistence and delicate softness. It can kept up to 10 years or more.
Grenache grapes bring roundness and suppleness. Syrah grapes give colour and aroma. Cinsault grapes give aroma and balance. Mouvèdre grapes bring body and complexity.

Very juicy, with compact layers of fig, blackberry and raspberry fruit. A graphite spine and toasted spice notes drive the finish. Shows good guts for the vintage.
Domaine de Verquiere established its reputation thanks to the work and the know-how of several generations.
When he was young, great Grandfather Edmond bought the buildings to which he gave life again. He used to sell his wines in big barrels to the best wine-merchants of the area.
Grandfather Louis, with dynamism, gave a new impulse to the domain by selling the wines in bottles and by extending the estate. On his steps, the father Bernard and his wife Genevieve took over, respecting the quality of the wines and increasing the sales through export.
