Winemaker Notes

This wine, using grapes from a selection of the finest slopes and narrow terraces of the famous terroir of Rasteau, is very concentrated and has an appealingly forceful personality. Besides aromas of very ripe fruits, it generally offers spicy notes and scrubland scents typical to this terroir.

A fine tannic structure from the outset, very much in the Beaurenard style: this is a wine of great character, elegant and well-balanced.

Pairs well with mushrooms and rabbit dishes.

Somm Secret—Putting their own local spin on the Rhône Red Blend, those from Priorat often include Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
