Dei Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2012 Front Label

Winemaker Notes

The Vino Nobile has a bright ruby red colour and a rich texture. Refined aromas of cherry and plum follow through to a full-bodied palate, with soft, round tannins and a flavourful finish.

A delicious and velvety-textured red with chili, spice, dried fruit and cedar aromas and flavors. Full body. Flavorful finish. Balanced. One of my favorite Vino Nobiles

A blend of Sangiovese with 10% Canaiolo, this opens with a fruity fragrance of fresh red berry, Mediterranean brush and a whiff of iris. The savory palate doles out juicy black cherry, black raspberry, clove and white pepper alongside fine-grained tannins. An anise note signals the finish. Drink 2016–2020.

Violet aromas and black currant flavors make this red distinctive. Supple, yet with adequate density and freshness. A long, tobacco-tinged finish caps off this promising red. Drink now through 2023. 16,000 cases made.

Legendary in Italy for its Renaissance art and striking landscape, Tuscany is also home to many of the country’s best red wines. Sangiovese reigns supreme here, as either the single varietal, or a dominant player, in almost all of Tuscany’s best.

A remarkable Chianti, named for its region of origin, will have a bright acidity, supple tannins and plenty of cherry fruit character. From the hills and valleys surrounding the medieval village of Montalcino, come the distinguished and age-worthy wines based on Brunello (Sangiovese). Earning global acclaim since the 1970s, the Tuscan Blends are composed solely of international grape varieties or a mix of international and Sangiovese. The wine called Vine Nobile di Montepulciano, composed of Prognolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and is recognized both for finesse and power.
