The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Dalla Valle estate is all about power, density, and verve.The wine is almost impossiblydark, opaque, and packed with aromatic excitement. Cassis, cacaobeans, burning sage, and baking spices explode from the glass. There is impressive weight and thickness, and, despite its tannic structure and strength, the wine is very enjoyable as it saturates the palate, even at this early stage in its life. This is a wine that will bring pleasure right now, and will age for many years, probably decades, to come.

    The brilliant 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is slightly richer, revealing more smokiness, graphite and creme de cassis notes as well as a dense purple color, a big, masculine, tannic mouthfeel and a full-bodied, rich finish. This majestic Cabernet Sauvignon should age effortlessly for 25-30 years. It possesses slightly more sucrosity and flesh than the 2009, but both of these are brilliant examples of hillside Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Cabernet Franc.
