Winemaker Notes
A clean, concentrated floral nose reminiscent of elder and acacia flower with hint of sage; fresh and distinctive on palate with nicely rounded fruit, light oak spice and a crisp finish.
Enjoy it with a snack of fresh goats' cheese and smoked salmon pâté with crusty bread, or as a partner to lobster tail salad, full-flavored fish dishes, scallops stir fried with ginger, or goats' cheese soufflé.

James Suckling
A pure and flavorful sauvignon blanc showing green kiwis, green tea leaves and more white blossoms, peaches and fennel than most sauvignons. Elegant and textural, with a medium to full body and an obviously saline finish that is quite appealing and dainty.

Pretty details of fresh tarragon, honeysuckle and white pepper accent the vibrant flavors of white peach, grapefruit sorbet and Meyer lemon peel on display in this lithe, lively white. Minerally finish.

Lifted peppery nose of sweet and sour gooseberry, palate of crisp acidity, Mirabelle plum, nettle and ripe stone fruit.
Capable of a vast array of styles, Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, refreshing variety that equally reflects both terroir and varietal character. Though it can vary depending on where it is grown, a couple of commonalities always exist—namely, zesty acidity and intense aromatics. This variety is of French provenance. Somm Secret—Along with Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc is a proud parent of Cabernet Sauvignon. That green bell pepper aroma that all three varieties share is no coincidence—it comes from a high concentration of pyrazines (herbaceous aromatic compounds) inherent to each member of the family.
