Winemaker Notes
A clean, concentrated floral nose reminiscent of elder and acacia flower with hint of sage; fresh and distinctive on palate with nicely rounded fruit, light oak spice and a crisp finish.

A steely sauvignon with pure, freshly picked gooseberries, guava, Japanese yuzu and tarragon. Some wet stones, too. Textured on the palate with excellent mid-palate density and clarity. Delicious and gastronomic.

The Colterenzio 2021 Alto Adige Sauvignon Lafóa has a very bright sweet spot with tropical fruit, papaya and mango. It shows medium-rich consistency with soft glycerin on the finish.

A graceful white, with a lacy texture and bright acidity layered with flavors of baked melon, grapefruit sorbet, toasted almond and fresh tarragon. Long and creamy, with a minerally finish of stone and saline.
Capable of a vast array of styles, Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, refreshing variety that equally reflects both terroir and varietal character. Though it can vary depending on where it is grown, a couple of commonalities always exist—namely, zesty acidity and intense aromatics. This variety is of French provenance. Somm Secret—Along with Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc is a proud parent of Cabernet Sauvignon. That green bell pepper aroma that all three varieties share is no coincidence—it comes from a high concentration of pyrazines (herbaceous aromatic compounds) inherent to each member of the family.
