Ripe apple, citrus and honey greet the nose and are followed by wonderfully balanced oak notes - vanilla, butter and cinnamon. The viscosity of this wine is amazing. The tropical pineapple and crisp apple flavors sit on the palate forever and are kept there with just the right touch of acid, coconut and oak.

Clos LaChance is a family owned and operated winery. Started by Bill and Brenda Murphy (bottom left and bottom middle), they began making Chardonnay sourced from the vineyard planted in the backyard of their Saratoga home. Their winemaking hobby turned into a passion and a few years later, Bill and Brenda founded Clos LaChance winery in San Martin, just 30 minutes south of San Jose Ca. They later hired their two daughters, Kristin (top) and Chery (bottom right) who help run the winery today.
