The wine displays a remarkable presence of red fruits and a clear expression of the Puente Alto Cabernet Sauvignon, with fine, delicate tannins that give the wine great elegance and density, different layers of aromas and flavors, very smooth, elegant tannins, and a long, persistent finish. The wine manages to produce that unique sensation you only get from great wines and great harvests.

Rated 95 Points: Wine Spectator - Montes Purple Angel Apalta Vineyard Carmenere 2018
Impressive deep purplish-red in color. The aromas are complex, with pronounced blackberry and ripe blueberry fruit. There is also dried plum, cooked cherry and candied fruit. The 18 months of aging in French oak gives a complex nose of toasted aromas, nuts, sweet spice, and touches of dairy and vanilla. On the palate, the flavors follow the aromas, with sensations of dark fruit and toast leading to a long finish that is finely balanced with good body and structure.
Rated 93 Points: Vinous / Antonio Galloni - Los Vascos Le Dix 2016
Ripe plum and cherry-scented nose that also features notes of licorice, saffron, cinnamon, and nutmeg that enhance the complexity of aromas. Notes of graphite, clove, dark chocolate, and cedar take the experience to a whole new level; A smooth and supple wine with sweet and friendly tannins.
