Distiller Notes
Originally created as a personal homage to the Far East, where Bombay's Master of Botanicals, Ivano Tonutti, has spent much of his time sourcing exotic botanicals.
Thai lemongrass and Vietnamese black peppercorns are added to the classic botanical blend. All 12 come together during vapor infusion to create a gin that truly stands apart. Infused by exotic eastern flavors, this wonderfully tasteful gin comes with more than added spice and a generous hint of citrus. Bottled at 42% ABV, it's extra punchy too. Crafted from the original recipe, East has a character all of its own. Ideal with tonic but equally superb in cocktails. However you enjoy it, there's much to look forward to.
Produced only in accordance with strict purity standards formulated by an 18th century European Parliament that guaranteed the absence of toxic distillation byproducts, the phrase “London Dry” on a bottle doesn't refer to any specific place of origin, age or ingredients. To be called a London Dry Gin, the base spirit must be distilled in a column still to at minimum, 70% abv. Natural botanicals can be added to the resulting neutral spirit only through re-distillation. Anything added after distillation other than water and a tiny amount of sugar disqualifies a Gin from the title, London Dry.
