Since great Grenache is so sparsely planted in the Foothills, we source our fruit from several small vineyards throughout Amador County. This wine was bottled early, after only 10 months aging in one of our artisanal concrete tanks, to capture the freshness and vibrancy of its character. Graceful, spicy and rich, the 2012 Grenache exudes vibrant aromas of mint and blackberries. The palate is complex with flavors of cranberry, espresso, black tea and a hint of strawberry on the finish.

Pairs beautifully with pork dishes, earthy foods like mushrooms, and herb roasted chicken.
