Deep ruby with a vibrant purple edge. Ripe stewed plums on the nose, with a touch of prunes. Full-bodied with ripe plums, sweet cassis fruits; juicy ripe mid-palate sweetness, subtle oak adds texture and weight, fine, persistent tannins give the wine structure and length.
Pair with beef stew, pot roast or grilled veal, lamb or beef with dark mushroom sauce, red wine reduction or hearty peppercorn sauce

In the Napa Valley, ‘Cab’ is responsible for some of the world’s most prestigious, age-worthy and sought-after “cult” wines. Somm Secret—DNA profiling in 1997 revealed that Cabernet Sauvignon was born from a spontaneous crossing of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc in 17th century southwest France.
