Winemaker Notes
Bright straw-yellow colored with green nuances. Intensely scented with fine and varietal aromas: floral and fruity (yellow peach, citron) with notes of aromatic herbs and Mediterranean scrub. Fresh and savoury on the palate, extremely pleasant and elegant.
There are hundreds of white grape varieties grown throughout the world. Some are indigenous specialties capable of producing excellent single varietal wines. Each has its own distinct viticultural characteristics, as well as aroma and flavor profiles.
Liguria’s most extensive DOC along its northwest coast from Genoa to France, the area concentrates on the production of Vermentino (called Pigato here), Dolcetto (called Ormeasco here), Alicante and Rossese di Dolceaqua.
