Distiller Notes
1921 REPOSADO is equally memorable. This smooth, spicy tequila is aged 4 to 6 months in American white oak barrels, just long enough to soften its character while leaving the inherent quality of agave unaffected by tannins in the wood.
Golden honey colored tequila that evokes metal shines with bright transparency whose tears descend with elegance down a crystal glass.
Sweet, caramel bouquet as a result of aging time and contact between Tequila and the delicacy of toasted oak.
With character to impress from the first tasting. It has a floral, vanilla, spicy agave, citrus taste and a long lasting fruit aftertaste.
Silky and warm feeling that caresses the tongue.

Our tequila is elaborated close to an small town named “Jesus Maria”, in the highest point of the Jalisco Highlands, where the best blue agave plants grow, therefore allowing us to extract the exquisite flavor that is present in 1921 Tequila. The agave used in our process is a top quality, due to it coming from the rich red earth of Jalisco. Said soil, apart from being extremely fertile, helps enrich the plant with unique minerals and high sugar content.
Handmade craftsmanship is utilized for the dressing of each bottle of 1921 Tequila. Every label is place by hand, as well as the wax which bathes the top of the cork. The medallion which represents our brand is also painted and placed by hand

Tequila Reposado refers to Tequilas that have been ‘rested’, or aged, in oak barrels for a minimum of two months but not more than one year. Depending on the specific flavors a tequilero wishes to impart on the spirit, a variety of different barrels may be used, from Brandy and Bourbon, to Wine and Sherry. The time spent on the wood allows Reposado Tequilas to mellow as they age, softening and rounding powerful flavor components brought by the agave and marrying them to subtle notes of caramel and vanilla brought by the barrel itself.
