Stephan Attmann's 2018 Pechstein GG "VDP. Grosse Lage" is super clear, fresh and spicy on the elegant and fragrant, rather citric and slightly oaky nose. Round and lush on the palate, this is a fine, elegant and very intense Pechstein with a salty-piquant and structured finish with a fine tannin grip and great aging potential.
Riesling possesses a remarkable ability to reflect the character of wherever it is grown while still maintaining its identity. A regal variety of incredible purity and precision, this versatile grape can be just as enjoyable dry or sweet, young or old, still or sparkling and can age longer than nearly any other white variety.
