This is extremely bright and energetic with plenty of dried cherry and chocolate character. Hints of hazelnuts. Full body, yet silky and super refined. Wonderful depth and length. Excellent. Mostly sangiovese with some syrah, cabernet and merlot. Drink or hold. Made from organic grapes.

This is a fabulous blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah available at an irresistible price point. The 2016 Rosso dei Notri is just plain terrific on all levels. The aromas are bright and intense, and there is good complexity here as well. I just love it. The finish shows chocolate and toasted espresso bean. Drink this wine now—just because it is that good.
