The wine is deep crimson-red with a fine mousse. It has rich, ripe, spicy fruit and plum, mulberry characters dominating the bouquet with hints of truffle, enhanced by integrated yeast complexity. Full, rich and soft, the palate displays abundant ripe, spicy fruit with underlying pepper and plum flavours and complementary soft tannins, with yeast maturation characters adding further complexity. The sweet wild-berry fruit is perfectly balanced by natural clean acidity and soft oak which contribute to the structure and great palate length. The wine finishes clean and dry.
