Winemaker Notes

The nose exhibits exotic fruit aromas such as pineapple and mango which are conferred by the solar characteristic of this south-facing slope. Also notice very mineral notes of blossoms. The flavor is powerful with ripe fruit aromas. The schisty characteristic of this soil is exhibited with a great acidity and iodized notes on the finale.

Pinot Blanc is an affable food partner or porch sipper. Pinot Noir, the only red grape in AOC Alsace, is now authorized in three Grand Cru areas and is also used for Crémant d’Alsace sparkling rosé.
