Winemaker Notes

The 2015 Resolute Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blackberry, plum, cola, fig, cigar tobacco, vanilla, cherry, and cocoa. Smooth upon entry, this medium bodied wine leads to a balanced mid palate with pleasant acidity. Flavors of toasted brioche, toffee, cola, and clove come together for a lingering finish.

Wrapping itself nicely around the palate, the well-designed 2015 Resolute Cabernet Sauvignon comes to the party with juicy ripe fruit, plenty of sweet oak, and a hint of cigar box. Pair this wine with a tea-smoked duck. (Tasted: August 31, 2017, San Francisco, CA)
