What is StewardShip?

StewardShip is Wine.com's loyalty program. For a low annual fee, members get free standard shipping on orders over $75, members-only deals, exclusive access to allocated wines, and invites to special events.

How is free shipping applied?

Free standard shipping is applied automatically to any order with a subtotal over $75, as long as you are signed in to the Wine.com account enrolled in StewardShip.

Are there shipping exclusions?

A discounted shipping fee of $12 is charged for standard shipping on orders under $75.

We can't offer standard ground shipping to Hawaii and Alaska, so orders to those states ship by air. StewardShip members pay the difference between expedited and standard shipping plus a surcharge, an excellent deal for those living outside the continental U.S.

Is expedited shipping free?

StewardShip includes free standard shipping. If you choose an expedited shipping method, you pay the difference between that method and standard shipping.

Is re-shipping an undelivered order free?

Yes. StewardShip includes free standard shipping for any returned package you would like re-shipped.

Does free shipping apply to returns?

No. StewardShip free shipping covers packages sent from our warehouse to the address on your order.

What other perks come with the loyalty program?

StewardShip members get exclusive access to special promotions, rare and allocated wines including Bordeaux Futures, partner offers, and in-person and virtual tasting events. Members are also invited to visit select wineries and distilleries around the world for free or at a discount. Opt in to Wine.com marketing emails to hear about these perks.

What are members-only deals?

StewardShip members receive exclusive promotions by email when subscribed to Wine.com marketing emails, and on the site when signed in to their account.

Can I give StewardShip as a gift?

StewardShip can't be given as a gift because the loyalty program is tied to the Wine.com account and email address of the person who joins. A Wine.com gift card is a great alternative: they can use it to join StewardShip or on anything else.

How does renewal work?

Your StewardShip membership renews automatically each year, and we send a reminder 5 days before it renews. To turn off renewal or update your payment method, sign in and go to StewardShip Settings in Your Account.
