Raumland is Germany's benchmark producer of traditional method sparkling wine, and this Pinot Noir bottling is a remarkable value compared with Champagne of similar quality. Hints of brioche and hazelnut on the nose extend into pristine lemon, red apple and berry on the palate. It's delightfully soft and creamy in texture but balanced by piercing lemon-lime acidity and a long, smoky finish

The 2013 Cuvée Marie-Luise Brut is a pure Pinot Noir that was disgorged with a dosage of 4.5 grams per liter in April 2019. The wine opens with wonderfully pure and delicate cherry and red berry fruit intertwined with very fine brioche aromas. On the palate, this is an intense, fresh and firmly structured sparkling wine with lingering fruit intensity and mineral expression. Intense yet so delicate. Tasted in March 2020.

A beautiful Sekt. Offers a mix of brioche, cardamom and apple aromas and flavors, all matched to a creamy mousse and supple structure. There's an underlying savory mineral note that adds dimension and allure, followed by a long finish.
Representing the topmost expression of a Champagne house, a vintage Champagne is one made from the produce of a single, superior harvest year. Vintage Champagnes account for a mere 5% of total Champagne production and are produced about three times in a decade. Champagne is typically made as a blend of multiple years in order to preserve the house style; these will have non-vintage, or simply, NV on the label. The term, "vintage," as it applies to all wine, simply means a single harvest year.
